Our hats are priced according to the quality of the materials used. There is no difference in price for various styles or creases. Special banding can be requested; prices vary depending on the job.
Western Hats
100x/100% Beaver
Beaver fur felt is the finest material available for a durable, quality western hat. The price is high, but the quality of the hat is invaluable.
Down payment is $415. Total price when hat is completed, $850 plus tax.
20X/ 60% Beaver Blend
A blend of European hare fur felt and Beaver. An excellent hat at less expense. Durable, good quality and finish.
Down payment is $250. Total price when completed is $520 plus tax.
10x Staple Fur Felt
Made from European hare fur felt, it is a good hat at a reasonable price.
Down payment is $175, with $350 total price.
Dress Hats
100% Beaver
Soft, light weight and stylish. These hats can be the classic fedora, the porkpie or the Texas favorite, the open road.
Down payment is $250 with $500 total price plus tax.
60% Beaver Blend
A fine hat for the price.
Down payment is $150. $300 total price plus tax.
Historical Hats
Chiltipin Creek Hats will replicate hats from the period of the 1820s to the time of the Great War. Most historical hats are built with factory second hat bodies in order to keep them affordable for the reenactors and living historians. Trim and liners are authentic to the period.
Prices vary, but most hats run between $150 to $300 (plus tax), depending on style.
